Alumahyde II Gloss or Matte Black ?

Hi I own a Hungarian Parts kit build AK on off the Hungarian AK63D. The gun is parkerized in a dark grey and would like to replicate the color of the original SA85M

Matte black, and then after it dries, spray it with WD-40. Then it will turn to a glossy black, but slightly less glossy than the glossy paint. I think it looks better that way myself.

Matte black. Be sure to clean with acetone a few time prior to spraying it, and use a heat gun to warm the metal before you paint. Paint it and leave it be for a few weeks. I hung the below rifle outside everyday for two weeks. It takes that long to actually dry. Don't put any thing such as WD40 on it until well after it has dried, or the finish will not properly cure.

See the below link for more pic's The rifle below was done in matte black Alumahyde.

I should have mentioned that I hung all the parts to cure on hooks for 30 days before I assembled the rifle. After I assembled it, then I sprayed WD-40 on it.
