It's no secret Off Roster handguns aren't that difficult to get, if you're willing to pay a premium.
I'm wondering, are there any complications with owning an Off Roster handgun, such as in a defensive shooting situation?
I acknowledge you're already going to have legal problems after a defensive situation, but would an Off Roster just fan the flames? What do our LEO members think? Obviously one hopes to never be in that situation.
Also, I'm curious if there are any issues at local ranges with obviously Off Roster guns?
I'm considering buying a Glock 43 for carry eventually, but am hesitant because it wouldn't be new and it's Off Roster...
