My CA compliant VZ-58 is almost complete

photos are imminent! Ive had so much fun putting this together!
figuring out the best way to pin the magazine to 10 rounds, locking the release in place etc.
I got the kit here form Dirtbiker and the receiver from ORF (who will gladly ship to Ades in orange)
    WTB Irish firearms:
old SxS shotguns, Enfields (Irish contract or FF marked), RIC marked carbines or revolvers, odd ball flintlocks.

VZ58 PARTS F/S - I've got everything except magazine parts

Excellent. Too bad about having to sodomize the mags, though

Ehh I prefer stripper clips and they work great with a pinned stock magazine

Can you put a rivet in the protrusion on the back of the mag? I'm thinking about cutting off the paddle release and drilling a hole in it to fit an allen wrench to release the mag.

Thats exactly what I'm doing to the mag.
I also drilled and tapped the magazine paddle release with a set screw to hold it in place
