I haven't used them yet, but this place came recommended:

New Frontier Armory – a leading firearms manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX. Specializing in AR manufacturing and top-quality firearms.

They have an FFL and will anodize finished lowers for $15 a piece. Return shipping is a flat $17 for 4 lowers.

Wow, that might be the way to go, I hadn't seen an anodizing service with a FFL that cheap yet.

$77 for 4 lowers seems like a pretty good deal.
