I did a multiple hand gun purchase with in a week some years ago, the ATF called the dealer that did the dros and checked up on me.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I posted a thread in here not too long ago about a fellow who received a visit from DHS after buying a case of .223. I think that might have been in New York.

So, yes, "they" are watching. At least to some extent.

Usually isn't an issue in California, but in other States if you buy more than 3 handguns at the same time, the ATF requires to be notified. If they do anything with that info is up to them. I have heard of people getting a call asking if they still had the guns, but that's about it.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".
