    Assault weapons taken by SJPD

Let me start off by saying I live right down the street where this occured. They were there from 4 A.M. to after 9 P.M. Has anyone else heard any thing the article mentions that assault rifles were taken? anyone know if they were OLL,RAW,or true assault weapons? I know the newspapers can be a little miss leading, I wouldn't be suprized if they ended up being bolt action hand me-downs. Anyone seen this yet did a quick search and didn't see any thing. Sorry if it's a dupe.

I know nothing about the weapons, but it's a strange story.

      For the lazies -

(03-29) 15:51 PDT San Jose, Calif. (AP) --

Authorities say a man who was threatening to commit suicide and appeared to have barricaded himself inside a San Jose home remains at large.

San Jose Police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez says the unidentified 35-year-old appears to have slipped out of the home where he was threatening to kill himself while police were securing the area early Saturday morning. Neighbors were evacuated and the street was closed, as officers took up positions around the home.

But authorities say the man called police around 9 p.m. Saturday from a pay phone near a local store. He gave them permission to go inside, where officers apparently recovered several assault rifles.

The man's name is not being released until authorities determine whether he committed any crimes.

Why do we continue to waste our precious resources on people like him?

What kind of people should we be wasting our precious resources on?
Things usually turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out.

Your question is senseless. We should not waste our resources period.
