Can A range lose license

Perhaps someone can answer it.

We all know that the state has banned possession of so-called hi cap mags and that there is an injunction to prevent enforcement of the statute.

My question. Is there a law that could cause a firearms range to lose their license or be held criminally liable for allowing shooters to use their hi-caps?

Depends. If a range needs a permit to operate, that permit can include terms. Those terms usually include to obey all laws. However, I don't think it is against the law to have somebody else possess a hicap mag on your property.

I doubt there could be any criminal liability.

A range could lose its lease though. Especially a lease from a public agency like USFS.

It Ca and it the court so yes and yes. Will they win? That's up to the judge. The DA can bring up all kinds of stuff against us. Its the judges that rule if its in the scope of their power. Its a huge gamble most people don't want to deal with. Just like when people where sending in those mag kits. Wasn't a problem till it became a problem for one store.

Actually, probably not but....

All ranges have you sign a release of liability that includes language in which YOU represent and warrant that you are legally able to own and handle firearms and that all your firearms are legally owned and comply with all federal, state and local laws.

Shooting ranges are not in the job of determining who is or is not in compliance. That is the job of law enforcement.
