Compact gun safe for 2 long guns.

Anyone know of a gun safe I can store 2 rifles in, and can fit inside a regular sliding door closet?

Having all of the guns in the garage is useless in HD, so I thought would make sense to have a small one in the room, tucked away with a rifle or two, and a handgun.

Look for 6 and 8 gun safe. They will fit.
Look at the mfgs website.

Just don't get a gun cabinet.

I purchased a safe from Sportsman Steel safes 22 years ago. It's their small version. I think it's a Sergeant model, it fits real nicely in a closet.
I had it upgraded (I wish it was bigger) and I think it was right around $1100.00. if your worried about somebody getting your guns, buy a good quality safe. If it's just to keep the kids from getting to the guns, buy a gun cabinet

That Hornady one looks interesting. Could mount it on the wall up high.

I would get a bigger safe, but I don't want it to take over my whole closet, it isn't very big to begin with.

I'm not worried about someone breaking in and taking it. If they can rip if off the wall quickly, major props. The only issue is just keeping others in the house out of it.

Is the hornady one not a safe? I would prefer not to get a gun cabinet, that barska looks ideal, but the hornady looks great with the rfid.

I saw that, but Im aiming for "out of sight, out of mind" in the sense that seeing a safe would be a "yeah ok" response, versus the rifle showing would give it more attention.
