I wonder if those federal licenses make you more vulnerable to CADOJ harrassment?

I think it's a legitimate question given the history of DOJ (and local government) attacks on gunshops all over the state. And it doesn't just have to be for 'suspected' state firearms violations. Could be a sales tax audit (are your books and records squared away?) could be a suspected code or environmental violation. The fact that you have federal firearms licenses make you a target in CA, but I'm sure you know that.

Viewing the comments I see CA winning, without any additional fight.

I don't want to give up anything myself. but shooting has slowed, but more for the weather (too damn hot) than the shat political climate.

I love CA, but am disgusted in the blind followers of the Democratic party

Pure rubbish, total FUD. I'll worry about that when there is proof that it is happening. Until then its nothing but utter FUD. Please just stop. There is already so much FUD being spread we really dont need any more.

Great post. This has been my experience as well. In the 18 months that I've been in Nevada I have shot more than in the previous 4-5 years living in Cali. Even participated in some competitions and 3Gun. I run drills almost every weekend on endless BLM land just minutes from my house. I use mostly IPSC targets but have accumulated quite a bit of AR500 for ringing steel as well. Currently waiting on a few tax stamps and a Daniel Defense MK18 and an AAC SR5 suppressor will be in my hands too. The thrill is definitely still there!!

Almost finished building this bad boy. VTAC 9-hole drill anyone??

OK that's cool. I won't mention it again. You brought it up, I asked a question, that's all.

Really? I brought up FUD? I simply pointed out how having an 03FFL + COE means you can still buy ammo online like before. I didnt speculate about how DOJ is going to begin conspiring against 03+COE holders. That is pure speculation and how FUD gets started.

I'd like to have a higher end double-barrel shotgun, and maybe a Sharps and a real Colt SAA, but that's about it.

I'm thinking about taking up model railroading. It's something that I have always been interested in. I'm sure California will find a way to f**k that up too however.

There is a bill in the assembly right now to ban OO gauge trains....

How about we do something fun as Calgunners and bite our thumbs at the idiot establishment?

How about we do a Night Shoot at Burro Canyon?
We can call it "Calguns Freedom's Night Out". I can get the range from closing to 10pm and we can shoot, BBQ and enjoy a like minded freedom loving American Night Out?

I too have stopped all buying of anything firearms related since these laws went into effect.
All my weapons and ammo have been moved out of state awaiting me to roll through and pick them up on the way to Idaho.
I prefer to starve Cal out of my sales tax. Ive also let my employee's go and am in the process of closing my business. I just put my house on the market and have been selling off tools, trailers and trucks locally for cash.

Purchasing a new truck this week and I will do that out of state as well.

As a long time 2nd supporter, and a short-lived California resident ( moved here in 2010 ) I feel that we are at war.
I will do everything in my power to not spend money, or support a system that does not recognize the constitution.
Voting with my feet is my best option and I hopefully will be gone before the fall comes.
