Hello,

Can I Private Party Transfer handguns that are not on the Approved California Gun List? Example I have 99% S&W M-49 Bodyguard factory engraved with the Saudi Arabian Crest I'd like to sell in CA, but it is not on the approved list.

Yes, if you and the gun are in CA, and the deal goes through a FFL.

In fact - that's the ONLY way you can sell such guns IN CA (otherwise sell out of state).

We are talking about California PPT sales, not out of state sales. PPT is a California term, in other States they do Face To Face(FTF), and in many States no FFL is needed, as they cash and carry.

All sales between people who reside in different states require by Federal Law that the sale goes through a FFL(of buyers State).

An for tge record, PPT does happen outsiode of CA, Only elsewhere its really a private matter

The long and the short of it is that I was laid off by a well know aerospace company, I was born in Southern California and am an American Citizen. By the way the company that laid me off desided to keep several engineers from INDIA who are here on work visas yet whack AMERICANS...

Anyway I'll be posting serveral guns shortly on the PPT board. Have to deside what the values are still.
