Probably half of Calguns is on the lookout for pre lock Smiths. Gotta be quick in the Marketplace around here.

Not a collection as I only have 3 smiths: model 10, Model 13-3 3" and beauty model 19-3 I picked up from YOU a few years back. Thanks again

          S&W 696-1, (no-lock) 5-shot .44 Special 3" barreled L-frame

S&W Model 3000 w/ 2 bbls: a 30" integrated full choke vent rib and just found a blued 18" POL. CYL. (no choke) bead sight barrel. Again, that's a high-polish blue 18" (not 18.5") bead sight riot barrel. This shotgun is an 870 clone made by Howa. It was made from the late-'70s thru early '80s when the design was sold off to Mossberg. My example is in near-excellent condition and they are not commonly found like this one.

          S&W Model 60-15 J-Magnum frame 5-shot .357 Magnum 3" barreled J-frame

Had, but sold, a Performance Center M&P R8. Neat gun, but didn't shoot it often (I've been reborn with the .44 Special. That's right, reborn
<--- that's John the Baptist right there) so I sold it and paid the mortgage with the proceeds. There are plenty of other firearms to shoot.

            Got a couple...

A beaut of a 27-3 I picked up from a Calgunner a few years back.

And a sweet near mint condition 1974 model 60 I gor from another great CG'er about a year or so ago.

And an older (not sure of the year) 41.

Something a little newer courtesy of the SSE days.

Here are a few of my 3.5" model 27's. A few 5 screw, a few 4 screw, and a few 3 screw models.

How about a few 3" K frame guns?

Quite a few 3rd generation semi autos, but only a few prelock revolvers.

My Dad used to be one of the biggest in Northern California. This was only a partial of his total collection:

I've had in order of acquisition:

Model 586 no dash, pre-lock, 6". Sold it.
Model 642-1 Centennial Airweight, pre-lock, 2". Sold it.
Model 19-3, pre-lock pinned and recessed, 4". Sold it.
Model 18-4, pre-lock pinned and recessed, 4". Still have it.
Model 19-4, pre-lock pinned and recessed, 4". Still have it.
Model 37 Airweight, pre-lock, square butt, 2". Still have it.

It's still in production and made from plastic, so not really collectors' material, at least not yet:

                            M&P Shield

If I came across a nice old Victory Model in 38 Special and not 38 S&W I would buy it.
If I came across a nice old Model 1917 or Model 25 in 45 ACP or 45 Colt I would buy it.

Model 27s and 28s are pretty sweet too. I'm not a 44 guy, so no 29s for me.
