CRIS Firearms Ownership Report Timeframe

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum section to post under, but I was wondering how long it took you guys to get approval/confirmation from the DoJ of the registration of a non-AW 80% lower with self-assigned serial number using the CRIS system through CFARS.

I got mine yesterday in the mail. I mailed in the application in February.

Spoke to DOJ about two weeks ago and the lady said it is taking 8-16 weeks for vol regs... AW's are their priority right now. Also depends on how much of your background they have to wade through.

Submitted about a dozen on 5/12, letter was dated 6/13, received letter on 6/16.

I submitted 3 (1 AR rifle and 2 AR pistols) on 2/23 received letters yesterday 6/22 that were dated 6/9. About 16 weeks to approval 17 to paper.
