I have read through a number of media Outlets that the deadline for registering assault weapons has been extended. I don't see any of this information on the doj site. Any of you heard anything similar to this?

Last year it was extended from 01-01-2018 to 07-01-2018.

This notice appeared just this week at CFARS website, so I don't think there will be an extension:
"Notice: The last day to submit a bullet button assault weapon registration is Saturday, June 30, 2018. The Customer Support Center is available to assist the public between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday only. However, staff will be available to assist with bullet button assault weapon registrations and assault weapon serial number requests via email communication on Saturday, June 30, 2018 until 11: 59:59 pm by contacting awr@doj.ca.gov."sigpic

That is old news I was hoping extended till 1/1/19 because of backlog.Comment
