    Things that newbies/ liberals say

Took a friend (gun virgin-ish) shooting, was giving her an anatomy lesson (no, not that kind) on ar15 direct impingement...

Me: "this is the gas tube"
Her: "do you have to refill it with gas?"
    Me:

The good news is i think i converted her to our side!

What do you guys got? Fully semiautomatic? Fixed bump stock? Full auto bullet button converter? 30 caliber magazine clip in half a second? Shoulder thing that goes up? We need a sticky

"teaching the little lady how to shoot, huh?".

You're teaching someone who knows little or nothing about firearms and is seeking to expand her knowledge. Why would you expect her to know what a gas tube is> Having a facepalm attitude towards a newby's questions is not helpful for a good teaching experience.

The surest way to convert anti-gun folk to Pro 2nd Amendment voters is to take them to the range where they can have fun with guns and positive experiences and learn the reality of firearms and not the stupid propaganda most voters believe.

Now if someone has owned several AR15s for years and who goes shooting all the time asks that gas tube question, feel free to mock and humiliate them.

Whats crazy is women/girls in Maine can probably outshoot 85% of all shooters in California and know more about firearms than 70% of Californians.

I would bet $100k on it because that’s what women do every single week. Off-roading/mudding and shooting.

Funny post though. Got to love Deleon. Not!!

If you add drinking beer and wild sex, that would be the recipe for the perfect woman.

You got me. To be honest, i didn't actually face palm (well maybe a little bit on the inside), it was just the most easily accessible emoji that conveyed my reaction at the time. If there were am emoji for "smiled warmly at the naivete of my pupil while simultaneously giggling internally and provided them with a correct understanding of the firearms's function", i would have choose that.

At no time was i a mean safety Nazi, the whole time i was closer than arms reach to correct her form. Everything was calm, supportive, and fun. Easy to do in a 1 on 1 setting at a private range

                        They'll say three things:

                        1) "Wow! These things are heavy!"

                        2) "This isn't like TV or the movies."

                        and

                        3) "That was fun!"

I just love the , "Here's my 3 shot 1/4 inch group, never mind the flyers, that was my fault". O-Kay.

                            or

"She shoots REAL good, if I do my part". OH, the range-master usually shoots your gun for you?

                            or

"Where can I get some Berdan primers to reload my steel commie ammo?".
