Yea but to California it only matters if it passes the requirements at the time of testing. So if the sample they sent passed, then its approved.

I dont understand the point of this thread though.

Why is everyone dropping their handguns? I haven't dropped one in all of my 34 years of handgun ownership.. NEVER!

Engrave the warning on the side: "Do Not Drop!"
        There, fixed.

If true, the "Gun Roster" has approved an "unsafe firearm" for sale in California...
CA drop safety testing is done from 1.1 meters (3' 3.8"). [PC 31900(a)]

The CZ-83 is listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, which means it passed the CA DOJ safety testing.

The Vz-82 (CZ-82) is C&R exempt from CA unsafe handgun laws.

Goes to show ya the reason for the gun roster is not gun safety...it's about banning guns...

That’s irrelevant. No one plans on having an accident but we put fire extinguishers in our homes and wear seat belts.

No one can be careful enough to never have an accident. Being cautious can help, but you can’t plan on everything going right forever. That’s pretty naive.

EDIT: So the little smileys don't come up in Tapatalk. Sarcasm noted. Lol.
