Fixed Mag Options for PTR91 HK91 Platform

I found a good option for fixed mag with my AR's but no luck with my PTR91.

I can go featureless which will have to do this month but would love to hear if anybody has seen a fixed mag option for the PTR91/HK91 platform.

    Thanks

There's currently two options for an HK fixed mag.

    Franklin HK DFM

    Maglatch 91

I would go featureless. Having to remove the stock and lower every time you reload is going to suck hard. Top loading will also suck.Having a fin grip on a heavier rifle will also suck but if you refuse to register then it’s the best option.

I took a copper color oil drain plug washer (12mm) cut a part of it off and formed it around (underneath) the mag release button. It sucks to load. You have to have the bolt forward to reassemble which chambers a round while assembling. Sometimes the round gets stuck in the chamber. The bolt doesn't lock and you try to rack it. Instant double feed. You have to redisassemble to clear. Big pain in the butt. Also 10 rounds go fast.

If someone made (if even possible) an ejection port loader, I’d consider a fixed mag.

$180 for a trigger pack that accepts ar15 grips so you could run a monsterman grip or thordsen stock. If you put a thordsen stock on, there’s an adapter to put a buffer tube on there. Both of these options are too much $ for me and the thordsen would change the look (not in a good way) of the PTR.

For now, I’m sticking with a grip wrap.
