    Idaho folks- hunting passport

    Hello,
Im interested in hunting, have never been though I have always wanted to.
I came across this program on Idaho DFG called hunting passport, and I would like to ask if anyone would be my hunting mentor.

Im open to any sort of hunting that the passport allows.
    Thanks!

Lonestar, I hope you get the opportunity to do this. I can't wait to hunt northern Idaho. Seen more elk in the 3 hours I was in the forest above Lake Pend Oreille than I have in my entire life. A couple big White tails and some weird creature that looked like a cross between a racoon and a ferret, I think it was called a Fisher but you can't hunt them.

Keep in mind that when you are hiking, you’ll see an abundance of wildlife. When you are hunting, they’re all hiding...somewhere. It’s one of the “rules” of hunting.

The website says its only for first time hunters and it costs $1.75.
In addition to the tags I believe.

You would be responsible for out of state license and tags as well as an archery validation.
