I recently got the quad rail version of SAM7SF. I just noticed the rail was not drilled through so that it does not accept a cleaning rod. I know SAM7SF has two piece cleaning rod and the full length rod will interfere with the stock locking system. Picture attached. It looks like the the retainer and the rail has holes predrilled. But the barrel front clamp has no hole on it. If you have a SAM7SF-84R, do you have the same setup? I wonder if this is done purposely (and what's the purpose) or is this a defect on this particular rail.

Arsenal SAM7SF-84R Question
Tags: None -
I got the definitive answer for my original post. I call Arsenal this morning regarding this. The quad rails on SAM7SF were not drilled to accept cleaning rod. While it is minor but it is somewhat annoying. They are trying to sell it as PR-01 rail and the markings on the rail says PR-01. but it isn't really a PR-01 rail. Their own marketing material (https://youtu.be/AUxzY9HYMhs) called out the cleaning rod channel as one of the two major features of this rail. If you want a quad rail, you better off just buy one with wood/poly furniture and swap it out yourself. If you pay extra money asking arsenal to put it on for you, well, you are getting one ready for cleaning rod ban =)
