CMP M1 Purchase - Providing FFL Info with Order

Was thinking of purchasing an M1 from CMP, but noted they now require you provide the FFL information for rifle shipment with the order.

How does one go about this? Last I looked into buying from out of the area the FFL would not provide his details to complete the order nor was all that interested in moving it forward himself.

Anyone buy from CMP lately and how did you complete the FFL information task?

As long as the FFL you are using is registered with CMP all you have to do is provide name, address of the FFL.

I placed a CMP order last week. I took all of my documents with a postage paid envelope to my FFL, he stuffed a copy of his FFL in my envelope, I sealed it at the counter and his wife mailed it that day. Not that hard.

FYI, Fort Courage in Simi. Tim and company are great people.

I like that idea, I'll try it. CMP stated to have the FFL fax his information at the time I send my order, but I have no faith that this would occur.

It sounds like maybe you need to find a new FFL.
