Holy crap... red dots are actually dots!

So I've always just assumed that red dots were a little blurry. I have an rmr07 on my carry gun and while it helps with accuracy it always felt like the 6.5moa was visible at 7 yards. Frustrated I was going to try a different brand until I got glasses. It turns out that red dots are actually crisp little red dots and stars in the sky are bright dots and not little blurry glows.

My world has changed. If red dots have felt off to you go change your life and get an eye exam.

Since an auto accident last year my vision has not been the same, and I am considering laser surgery to help see dots again. Lol

Blurry or not round shaped?

Blurry is a focus problem. Not round is an astigmatism problem.

Both are corrected with glasses. Whole new world regardless.

When I turned 35, I noticed the change to comet shaped red dots. But it doesn't really matter since you are focused on the target anyways.

+1 to go get your eyes checked, people! Our vision can deteriorate as we get older and most people don't notice any real change because it's so gradual.

Did the airbags deploy? Two years after I was in a collision with airbag deployment I was having cataract surgery at 44 with no previous eye problems. The surgeon told me that he see's a lot of that after a impact to the face from an airbag. Get your eyes check soon if you haven't, because it will get continue to get worse as time goes on.

i mean your vision insurance covers it, why let it goto waste?
