    Picked up Sig P365

I finally picked up my Sig P365 from Cabelas. I decided to buy a Ruger .22 at the same time for grouse and plinking.

The Sig feels great in my hand. Nice looking, I'm liking the grip better than the Glock. I'll take it to the range on Friday.

Congrats. My build date (on the sticker outside the box) was March 26th. What is yours?

Model number ends with "BXR3"is the updated model.

Somebody in another thread said all Cabela's had for sale were the early February models that needed to be sent back to Sig for repairs.

Cabelas has it for 530, is that a good price?

Is it on backorder? That's the price I paid. It's reasonable.

My brother just bought one for $600 in Florida at a local gun store.

Different prices all over the place.

'Bout the going rate. That's what I paid for mine at my LGS. Total was $613.xx w/tax.

Decent, but with Cabela's, you can get another 20% off with giftcards sold on eBay and if you wait on certain special days like Black Friday, even guns are included in their 10% off sale (for instance, today's sale does not include firearms). Mine end up costing me $430 + change before local taxes. The only issue is that popular in-demand guns may not be available at the time you want to buy them as they move in and out of stock.

Just some more info on this, there are some reports on some forums of firing pins breaking on the Gen 2's that were built during a certain time frame.
