    OK, need help unloading ammo

ALL SOLD - Moving to GA in a few months and have about 2K rounds of ammo to get rid of. I've search/read the posts, Googled the issue and spoke to 3 local FFLs - and I'm still unsure how to get rid of the ammo. The feedback from the FFLs was: 1. We don't do transfers, 2. We will charge $2.00/box plus 20% of the overall value, 3. The regulations will allow gifting of the ammo to friends/family/shooting buddy, without an FFL.

I know there are posts out there that address these issues - but it mostly contains conflicting info.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Fountain Valley would be a haul. I live in Campbell/San Jose. Any local FFL recon would be appreciated.

i had no way of guessing your location

it may be that places accepting online ammo shipments may also be cool with PPTs, so maybe you can find one here:

Target Sports USA contines to ship ammunition to California to Exempt Indivduals, FFL Holders and Certified Pick Up Locations

Just curious, why are you selling? 2k rounds isn’t that heavy.

Isn't the law say like 500 or less doesn't need to go through an FFL. Can still be sold normally in a parking lot like it used to be from what I keep seeing posts say...?

You could always sell 500 at a time. Or sell more, and then meet up with the guy at a later time and its a separate transaction lol.

500/month. Would take him 4 months to unload.

Give it to a new buddy and your new buddy can gift you a stack o cash.
