No Guns Sign for the gun range.

Was at the local hardware store and came across one of those No Guns signs. You know, the one with a handgun in a red circle and line. I was thinking about how stupid that sign was then thought, Sht, that is just the right size to use as a pistol target at my range, They only allow paper targets. I think I am going to pick one up, fill it with holes, take a pic and make it my new avatar. The lady at the counter did compliment me on my gun related ball cap.

      That's a great idea!

What are the dimensions of the sign, and where did you find it?

I promise I won't steal your avatar idea.

Come to Livermore, we'll make an exception for you.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

It looked about 8x8 or maybe just a little smaller. It was at Lowes where they have all the for sale signs and driveway reflectors and all that. I was looking to see if they had maybe one that said guns ok or something like that but they did not. I had my hands full with some stuff so did not pick it up.

Funny thing though. I almost grabbed it right there but I felt weird taking it, kind of like that embarrassed feeling I get when picking up something like hemorrhoid cream. I mean, what if people see me with that in the store and think it is for me and I am one of those anti-gun people?

Why not take the sign and put it inside a bigger red circle with a line through it; make a "No 'no guns sign' sign" sign.

CACowboy, your sign idea reminds me of "No Hunting", or "No Shooting" signs on fences that are full of bullet holes.
