Is the light too close to muzzle?

Will this cause damage to the light?

depends on how fast you pull the trigger. You know if you go "full Semi Auto" you may have an issue or 2.

      Good weapon light

Should be able to take the abuse of full auto fire, and rough work. Might have to clean the carbon fouling off the lens after a while but aside from that I don't think you'll have a problem with WML, they have pretty good reviews.

With that flash can the blast is sent forward, your light will be fine, as other said, maybe a little carbon but other than that shoot the heck out of it!

I’d mount it further back. The lens will get dirty really quick. I always remove my Surefire light from my 34 when I shoot it. Even just a few rounds of 9mm will dirty it.

I'd get some flashlight Insurance before I tried anything like that.

put some Vaseline on that lens before you shoot it and the carbon will wipe right off!

Vaseline will grab and hold every particle of carbon / dust / dirt and turn that lens opaque in no time.

Perfect, I was looking for something like this for my light.

Sounds like youre getting your money's worth out of the flashlight purchase. Is there a mall ninja emoji?

If that was mine, meaning that I paid money for that light, i would certainly mount it further back (as far as possible/practicak) and away from the muzzle blast.

I do not care how anti tacticool it may look or seem as long as my light ain't getting BBQ'ed or damaged. Also, not into cleaning extra stuff.
