    AR 15 Pistol

    Good afternoon,
A general question on the AR 15 pistol. Does the lower have to be labeled multi or AR 15? Does it matter if it is labeled AR 15 and has all the components of an AR Pistol? Thanks in advance.

If it is not a 80 % built, it must be registered as a pistol and will have "pistol" engraved" as well as AR-15 and either multi or a particular caliber.

It will just have to have been registered as a pistol then it's good to go

AR 15 is a trademark you cannot use it on your 80%. Use pistol multi cal.

Mine that I successfully registered, now a RAW. Does not say Pistol anywhere on it. And I believe my Gun Shop even drosed it incorrectly as a rifle.
How did you lose your hands?
I was a puppeteer, doing a show as 2 dogs. The ATF shot them.

That should not have happened, so I guess we could call you lucky.

still, engraving specifying "pistol" has never been a requirement/rule/law.
