The guy on the right is on Youtube videos with weapons testing. He did some videos in the mid to late 1980s regarding machine guns and "assault weapons" (the 1989 import ban).Comment

Rich Davis, the founder of Second Chance, travelled from town to town for several years in the 60's and 70's demonstrating for local LEOs what his undershirt bullet resistant vest would do. He would give his pitch at the local range for the assembled officers, don his product and dispense a .357 round into the vest at contact range. He did it over and over and over. Eventualy people started buying his product. As numbers of officers saved by his product began to grow so did sales.
I'd bet he's fired a gun into his own body, shielded by his product, hundreds of times.
