I used to have one of those when I was a kid, it's a "Marksman" BB/pellet/dart gun. Most inaccurate thing I've ever fired, but all metal and looks pretty cool. Me and my cousins used to have BB gun wars with those things (this was long before airsoft). They don't really shoot hard enough to break skin but they hurt like crazy.

Some kind of 1911 style gun, but I second the BBgun..

What is that picture from? And is that supposed to be a bb gun or pass for a real thing? If that was a photo shoot, I would not be holding a freaking bb gun.

My great uncle-in-law owned one of those. You see them in movies all the time, especially the lower-budget ones. They even used one in Super Troopers, IIRC.

Funny thing about this...when I used to design one-sheets, the company I worked for did an international one-sheet for that Steven Segal movie, "Fire Down Below." In the composition we needed a hand holding a gun a certain way. None of the unit photography supported this, so we did an in-house body double shoot using one of the employees holding a gun and composited it with a Steven Segal head. I told them it obviously looked like a bb gun, but they didn't care. The gun we used was the classic Marksman 1010:
