    Gun shops in Vegas

After my trip to Front sight I hope to spend a few days in Vegas. As a break for the tables can you recommend any good gun shops to visit?

Thanks for any help you can give.

I tried googling and only got the gun store! The one where you shoot Ak's and stuff! Have you gotten your utah CCW yet?

The Citadel Gun And Safe Shop is great. They have a ton of hardware to look at. They don't mind Californians either.

Centermass firearms in Henderson happens to be my favorite. Fully auto MP5's can be fun to play with. Also ask them about the PRIZM.

Can you rent and shoot full auto there? I'll be in Vegas next weekend and I'll go try it. Anything else you guys recomend?

I've shot FA's at The Gun Store on numerous occasions. Not a bad place. Just be prepared to catch some flak when you show your CA ID.

I went there last Nov at 29 and caught no attention, I dont think they mind considering they advertise all along the 15fwy from CA into vegas. I thought I felt disproving eyes while looking at the barret, but I think it was just me and they didnt want me to dirty there 9k rifle

smelled like amonia and the ammo prices were 1 dollar a round though.

I'd like to shoot the AK and tommy gun but the m16 and the saw were boring.

As an addendum to this. Anybody know of a good knife shop in Vegas? I know some gun stores have a display case of flea-market knives but I'm looking for decent production knives (Emersons, Striders, Kershaws, Benchmade, etc.)

Contrary to popular belief, I have had no problems at The Gun Store. Every time I've gone in there, they have been nothing but helpful. As a matter of fact, my last trip there two weeks ago, the sales guy turned me on to a better concealed carry holster than I was using.

He was carrying a HUGE, possibly 8" barrel wheel gun in a shoulder holster and a 911 on his belt.

but he gave some great advise!
