Scope Boxes

What do you all do with old scope boxes?

Getting ready to move and probably have at least 20 old scope boxes. Trying to figure out if I should pack them up or trash them.

If not, pack small items in there and take with you

I use them for ammo sometimes. Load up a small batch of ammo to test, write notes on the box, take to range, dispose of after that ammo is gone. Otherwise, I toss them once I have the scope mounted.

Keep any you may sell in the future, trash the ones you will keep forever

Save the boxes with the inserts. If you have to warranty a scope. They come in handy.
I actually print the receipt and put it in the box.

I have had to send two scopes for warranty repair. Boxes came in handy.
Got new scopes in two weeks.

If you keep them, you will never need them. If you toss them in the trash, you will need them within 3 months.

I’ll hold onto them for a while. If the optic is still in use and mounted to a rifle afte a year or so then I’ll trash the box. If I’m undecided on the scope then I hang onto the box in case I decide to sell.

I have a few I want to sell so the boxes stay with the scopes.

This is what I do. Once I've gotten good use out of it and I trust it, i'll toss the box. I keep it until then and all the original packaging.

I keep not only scope boxes but also keep the boxes that my uppers came in .And for that matter boxes that parts came in ....To many boxes ....OCD

I normally toss packaging, but for some reason I saved the scope boxes from the last several years.

Two were used for warranty returns, and three others are used to store the scopes I removed and replaced because I wanted something better/different.

I should probably post those up on the for sale forum. Thanks for the reminder.
