    Glock 19x prices

I have been seeing a lot of Glock 19x pistols in the market lately. I do not want to question how a very new off-roster gun is so prevalent in the market and conveniently priced at double its original cost. I have/had plenty of Glocks and really like them, but part of that is their relative affordability to the quality and dependability you get out of the gun. I am sure I will eventually have a 19x.

Another gun I really like and see priced with a slight, but not as drastic, premium is the CZ SP-01 Tactical and there is no way I can justify paying more for a Glock over that particular CZ.

I am not judging, but am genuinely curious if there is anybody buying these 19x on the CG market at twice the price. If so, why, when there are so many other options for a more appropriately priced gun in the $1200 range?

The "value" of anything is simply the math between its Supply and Demand at any given moment. There is no logic beyond that point, don't even waste your time overthinking it.

If you really need or want a 19X, then pay them what they want, and don't look back, just enjoy your new 19X in your hands, or CZ, or HK or whatever it is that makes you giggle.

I have a Glock 26 that I turned into my own personal 20-round Glock 26X for $30, that makes me giggle all day long:

Yes people pay the price to get what they want...supply and demand simple economics. I for one am grateful to be able to acquire certain firearms I normally would not be able to here in the suck we live in. Just get the the regular sp01 it’s perfectly fine! If you want a Glock 19x just get a Glock 19 or 17 and call it a day we are limited to 10 rounds here so there’s not much benefit if any.

Can you buy a G17 and throw a G19 upper on it?

I guess I can find out when I get home next weekend. I have one of each in the safe and never tried it.

Because some people must have that special Coyote color and are willing to pay the CA Premium. When the G19x first popped up for sale in the CalGun Marketplace, it was priced at $3,000 and it didn't take long for the seller to put down SPF. I just laugh that some guy with too much money just had to have it.

Holy s***...people are actually paying that much?!
They're just about the same price as any other glock in my area of Texas.

Unless you owned regular capacity magazines prior to 2000.
