Beretta PX4 Storm Competition Trigger Group

Has anyone tried the Beretta PX4 Storm Competition Trigger Group?

Is it worth the $90? Should I still change the hammer spring with the 8000s hammer spring?

Check out the deal on Hammer Spring, New Factory Original at Numrich Gun Parts

    Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, I have it installed on my 40 SW. I like it, it is a lighter trigger. It is $114.00 on the Beretta site:

If by chance you are in the East Bay I'll let you shoot mine to give it a try.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

My bud just put one in his .40, was surprised to see the hammer looked like a regular 92FS hammer and although it was a smooth trigger pull, I wasn't sure if it contained a D spring, the pull seemed a little heavier than I expected. Could just need some breaking in?

To me the trigger lightened up quite a bit. It took a little getting used to. I let off several rounds prematurely while getting used to it.
