    With ammo in short supply...

As we all know ammo is short in supply. My question is: Is there a pistol/rifle that you have that you find yourself shooting more now because popular ammo is scarce? For instance, shooting more .22 now over lets say 9mm or .45?

.22lr has been pretty scarce too.
actually i havent shot .22lr in a while because i seem to find a box or two of 9mm every now and then, but no .22lr value packs at the walmart.

I guess by shooting .22 is that its cheaper when you do find it to shoot it over 9mm and .45.

.22 LR or .40 S&W as those are the easiest to obtain. More .22 as it's cheaper!
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I see 40sw almost every store I walk into, so much so I can be picky with what I pay. Walmart in off Clairmont blvd has PMC 250rds bulk box for $67 bucks. Snagged 1 box of those and the 3 boxes of blazer brass. Break down of the PMC is 13.60/ box of 50 then the BB was 12.47/50rounds. Also picked up 5 boxes of remington target 22lr for $6/100rds.

Last week I picked up 2 bricks of Federal .22LR. Today I picked up another 2 bricks of .22 long rifle. I can't seem to find any 9mm at Walmart, Big5 and Yellowmart (local Sporting Goods store)

So I might as well stock up on what I can find. So far that has only been .22LR.

Stopped by Big5 today, they had a couple of boxes off Rem 223, 20 rounds for $23, one box of Colt 45, 50 rounds for $45 and a bunch of misc shotgun ammo. I laughed.

I always take my CZ452 with me when I go shoot rifles. I have been taking my buckmark out of the safe more often when I go to the indoor range.

I don't own a 22lr. Wish I did. I really need to look into one. So in the mean time I've just been shooting what guns I do have. Went through about 300 rounds of 45cap a few weeks ago. A couple hundred of .223 through the ar's. And about the same through the ak's. But then again I don't have a problem finding ammo In fact I should be picking up 2K rounds of Hornady training .223, and 1K Fiocchi 45acp next weekend.

I've seen like one box of 9mm at 4 different big 5's

Discount gun mart has them but you're paying top dollar for them. They want $25 for a box of 40sw fed. My buddy is having a hard time getting 357 mag, they had a bulk can at the show today but not FMJ so he passed.
