Can someone tell me why some threads get locked.... LIke the cop shooting ones today.... Tell us so we make the site better...? Just locking makes NO sense... I say make it so IF a mod locks it he has to say WHY he locked it....

We then know what NOT to do. Most think we are following all the forums guidlines and such but still get deleted and locked....


It is someone I have seen asked but nobody has the guts to say what is up....



Please tell people why something gets locked or deleted...if you have the power to deleted you should HAVE to tell us why...

If you was to read what was being said there, they locked it cuss of all the stupid coments being made, (off topic) since it was about the leo's being shot, all the bull with the fighting had to be cleaned up, so in this case they closed it cleaned it, then opened it back up, other then that they will close threads when they get to much bickering in them, or they just plain get out of hand, or theres already a thread going about something, no need for dubes.

I have a feeling there were probably about 5 threads on the same subject. I don't see a problem with locking 4 of them.

nah than merge the ones that are new on the same topic into 1 and delete the other and type a comment explaining this.... Easy money. And I saty away from dubes and pubes...But that's just me...

Guys, I locked the last thread on the Oakland shooting because it got wayyy off topic. Kes cleaned it up and it's open again, but if you don't want threads locked, stay on topic and keep the maturity level high - and we won't have a problem.

If a thread involves cop bashing or anything even slightly anti-LEO, it will either be locked or the "offending" posts will be removed.
