I see a flash. It's not hiding anywhere.

      Compensator it is.

Actual tests on that flash-hider/compensator you are looking at can be found here. It's around the lower middle of the list on lux measurement.

Love this article, and check it frequently:

Thanks for all your reponses......i knew this was marketed as compensator and read about some sites market this as comp/ flash hider. That is why im not quite sure about the laws....its murky.....and i also know that there are people that want us law abiding citizens prosecuted.
I ordered one of those cheap Strike industris muzzle brakes and i just finished installing itm just to be in the safe side.
I hate this bull crap these california politicians throwing at us i bet a criminal would not even cared about any of these details to make the chit legal.

It is clearly labled everywhere as a comp, what makes you think it is a flash hider?

Let's see it from the front. Gimme a minute to go downrange before you start shooting and I'll let you know how much flash I can see in that flash suppressor.

It says comp ALL over that paragraph

The development of the T3 compensator started with the need for a muzzle device that not only maintains a small size but also performs well within its intended use. The T3 is a dual baffle compensator that directs expelled gasses to control muzzle direction. The initial baffle directs gas in a geometrical pattern that stabilizes the rifle system. The second baffle system channels gasses upward to compensate for muzzle rise. This gives the shooter the ability to decrease the time between follow up shots and maintain control of muzzle direction. The T3 is a mounting solution for suppressors that mount via an A2 style flash hider.
The end is closed as well. Its a comp, OP.
