When you've got a team of officers shooting, and they have a fun switch, it's not surprising how many times the douche was shot.

Lets estimate about 8 in the SWAT team, that's around 15 rounds each, out of a FA gun at the same time, we're talking about a second or more of firing - that's not unreasonable in a situation like this... or maybe I'm just weird.

It's in the woods, too. You're talking a bit longer distances, less visibility (usually) and it's harder to tell when the person you're shooting at is down and/or out of the fight. People tend to blaze away till there's a lull and realize that the lull is on both sides... and then realize they hit the BG 5 minutes ago.

Well, this guy deserved what he got...he killed a police officer plus the k-9 unit as well, hell I would consider this guy to be extremely dangerous..obviously he doesn't give a damn, so why take risks? Smoke his a**!

I'm not gonna shed any tears over the guy, that's for sure. I'm sure the Sherriff's department is going to get sued for it, though. If the scumbag's family manages to supress the info about WHY the cops were looking for him, 68/110 sounds a tad excessive.

I saw another article that said the SWAT team was 10 guys. No way 10 Florida SWAT team guys only have 110 rounds. 9 of them have 10 rounders and one with a "HI_CAP" mag? I seriously doubt it. These ain't lowly PRK citizens, why would they only have 110 rounds between them? People in free states don't even know if AR mags come in 10round size. 5 rounds = legal for hunting. 10 rounds = waste of time.

I believe the suspect must have engaged the SWAT team (pretty stupid if he did) and got killed. Its his own fault, he should've just gave up.
