    Black Dog Armory

I just stopped by Black Dog Armory which will be opening up soon in the same location that was formerly Annie's Guns, on Grimmer in Fremont.
I was told they are waiting on one last number from sacto and should be open within the next 2-3 weeks.
Black dog Armory is owned and operated by those who were involved in Annie's Guns so they are familiar with the business.

I am not involved in the business, I just wanted to let the Calguns community know in an effort to try an bring in support for one of our local 2a businesses.

Screw corporate; small business is the backbone of America.
We have seen in recent days how quickly corporations roll over to the antis.
Spent a few extra bucks and support the people who will not turn their back on the 2a.
Support someone's family, not corporate shareholders.

Unfortunately, yes, Annie's is no more.
Really sad to see Annie's go, but from the looks of it there will be familiar faces and the same friendly atmosphere.
I very much look forward to doing business with them.

Running a small business is stressful by itself; add the fact that the 2a community is fighting against harsh criticism and a plethora of ridiculous CA laws, and it can take it's toll.

The way that the 2a community has shown a surge of support for our pro 2a groups in the wake of the recent anti-gun movement has been fantastic, but this must be ongoing.
Continue donating and please, for the love of God, support local 2a businesses over corporate dumpsters.

Good. It is nice to see another gun shop open.

              Just an update.

I stopped by on Saturday and scooped up a Ruger PCC take down they just got in. I believe it's the last of this shipment, but Chuck did say he is expecting more. The guys here are super friendly, as is the patrolling pup (the funniest thing for my daughters to watch, they got a kick out of it). Their inventory is still building, but they can also order items not in stock in most cases, according to them.

From my understanding, they are still working their way back up to a full fledged shop in terms of staff and inventory, but they have the space to become a great shop, and the sooner the better!

Enjoyed the few times I visited Annie's guns while in California. Had some really nice older consignments..
