Registration paperwork for BB rifles

Even though I hope to be gone from CA in the next 6 months I went ahead and registered 3 BB firearms. I received the registration letters today (my wife and I jointly registered the arms)

I'm thinking of keeping a copy of the letter so that it accompanies the rifle to the range once the deadline for registration passes. I'll place a copy in a plastic pouch and keep the pouch in the hard cases that the rifles travel in.

You have to register Bb guns? Good lord!

BB = Bullet Button.

Don't be goofy guys.

BB means bullet buttoned ar15 rifle not a BB/Pellet gun.

And, Yes if you keep the evil features on an AR you need to register it with or without a bullet button.

Why did I register them?

1. Featureless leaves me cold. They are clumsy clubs for me.
2. Taking them apart so they can't be shot and avoid registration is silly. I bought them to shoot them.
3. Not registering arms that should be registered puts me in felony territory and I'm not risking my pensions in the event they come to the attention of the authorities.
4. I'm not a Wolverine and I don't expect to fight in an insurrection with will require clandestine/unregistered arms.
5. The state already knows I own them so what's the point of hiding the fact?
6. I sold valuable semi auto firearms at a loss when the first registration requirement was introduced. I sold them because I believed the next step was confiscation. That was what, 20 years ago? I wish I still had the Colt HBAR and Sterling Mk6 instead of selling them. I'm not going that route again.
7. When Newsome is governor he will get a similar ban and registration on all semi auto rifles featureless or not. Those who went featureless are forever locked in amber. No going back if they weren't registered as a BB firearm.

Each must make his or her decision according to their beliefs.
