    Which organization should I join?

I'm interested in joining, for right now, one organization and I'm hoping you all might have a recommendation?

My initial inclination is to join the NRA. I feel like my money would be used for good purposes (safety education and programs, defense of the 2nd Amendment, etc.), but I want to be sure there may not be a different organization(s) I should consider and why you might recommend them instead? Maybe I should consider Gun Owners of California?

If I do join the NRA, can someone tell me if there's a list (somewhere) of the, maybe less obvious, benefits like (oh, I don't know) travel discounts, etc., etc., stuff like that...if there are any such additional benefits.

    Thank you...I appreciate your input.

NRA is the obvious choice IMO, but I think any one of them are of benefit to the cause. I've noticed usually the people here that gripe the most about the organizations are those that give the least.

I do the NRA as a life member, and I support CalGuns.

Join the NRA with an associate membership for $10. Then join at least one local org.

            NRA and CRPA are essential.

IMHO, the Webinars by CRPA are outstanding.

If you can only do one....hmmmm..... I'd go CRPA because it is CA specific and the Webinars are good.

Join as many as you want. I need to renew my NRA membership and I am a member of FPC. I need to look into CRPA, don't know much about them.

NRA is the ONLY organization on the radar of the anti-gun crowd and their politicians. They will pay attention to any sudden growth in the organization...far more than any other group.

                      That said....

GOA. They at least view your 2A right as non negotiable. Unlike the NRA who just takes your money and bends you over.

I belong to the NRA, CRPA, GOC, SAF. All of them contribute to the fight. Just pick one or two.
