The hurdle to repeal the Second Amendment is immense. It would probably take a communist takeover of the country to get the required supermajority in Congress and in the states. If 2A ever gets repealed, the rest of the Bill of Rights, and probably the entire Constitution would be gone as well.Thermidorian Reaction . . This would be instant civil war. So we might as well plan on taking Ca first followed by Oregon & Washington. By strategically taking the West coast we'll have everything needed (resorces) to continue the true free constitutional states.Comment

I don't worry about the 2nd being repealed. It is one of the reasons I seriously doubt the libertarian cry for a convention of states or whatever they call it. The progressive left I fear would use that to eliminate the 2nd. The left doesn't need to repeal the 2nd they'll ignore it like they do immigration law, privacy laws, and even unreasonable searches and seizures.1. Compared to what?
