I've gone through the archives and everyone's simplest solution to the gunlock law is: buy one at Walmart and return it later. What's to say you can't bring in your own lock, give it to the store, and have them sell it back to you for $1, or 10 cents, or whatever. Thoughts?

This should be a system...
You bring in your gun lock, still in the packaging, you donate it to the store, and the store sells you somebody else's donated lock for a penny. Or, you sell your lock to the store for a penny, and they sell it back for a penny.sigpic
Vote for pro-gun candidates, or lose your rights, and the rights of future generations. That's it. The end.

I bring in my gun case with my own lock and it's a done deal. No lock to buy.
Done this numerous times.Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.Comment

If you bring in a lock, you must provide a receipt showing you purchased it within 30 days. So I would not use the lock you brought in and gave or even sold to me to satisfy the FSD requirement.
However, you could always give me a lock and I could give you a different lock. The law is clear you cannot bring in a lock to use for the transaction without a receipt. Bring in a lock you are not using for the transaction should be fine.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment
