I'm going to ruin this for myself, but c'est la vie. Many of you probably have a Costco card or other Citi-branded credit card. Many of those cards have a benefit known as Price Rewind. It's essentially a price-match program. In other words, you buy something at a store (B&M or online) and then find a cheaper price (B&M ad or online) and you submit a "price rewind" request. They credit you the difference (in the purchase price only, taxes and DROS not included).
The terms and conditions do not exclude firearms or ammunition for now, and in fact, it is confirmed that they will process price rewinds on this. Up to $500 an item, and $2,500 a year per Citi card account.
Very easy process. As a tip, do bulk cases of ammo, because each item has to be entered separately. You don't want to waste an hour entering 100 boxes of ammo individually.
So forget, at least for now, getting a COE/FFL03 to get ammo shipments. Support your favorite LGS, buy a bulk case of ammo (or five) at the LGS' ridiculous marked up rate, and take a few bucks out of the gun-grabbing globalists' pockets.
