    Anyone used self-healing plastic targets?

I have been looking for plastic targets to get to stand-in for steel targets that Burro doesn't allow you to use. I want to be able to setup some stages for practice for when i rent a private range at Burro later this year. i am not going to run only these plastic targets since their cost is way expensive, but mostly as add on targets along with paper targets. (for when i'm too lazy to reset/tape as the day progresses)

the two options i'm interested in are below:

The entire setup is that self-healing plastic, from the base, to the bar to the target itself. this is listed on amazon, but has slightly poorish reviews. most of them are averaging in the 3 star range. this is the self-contained option since i don't have to mount it to anything

this is the second option. they have various targets that range from items you directly screw into some saw horses to hold them up or place them on same saw horses to fall off after being hit. they also have popper style that you can string up to reset from the firing line (probably won't go for these)

the cost is much lower than the fab defense, which would allow me to buy more targets, but they require me to make up some saw horses/target stands to mount them up. they do offer some hinged bases for the targets, but i'm unsure if burro would even allow that since they don't even allow steel target bases to hold up the 1x2's to mount the targets on...

or should i just forget about these, and just buy more paper targets and ammo?

The standard, and also a local SoCal business.

They will take 5k rounds before they get ratty, but can last much longer than that.

Pricey, but worth it in som people’s books.

Unless they move it's hard to tell if you hit them. The holes close up. I liked the Zombie Industies "bleeding zombies".

i think i'll pass on this though. the price, metal stand, and weight of the item makes it not viable for me.

but thank you for the letting me know about them.

that is what i was thinking too. so i can either get the hinge base or place them free standing so they fall off after being hit.
