AR 10 build made to be CA Compliant

So believe I have a build list of components for a DMPS pattern AR1/308. Ironically, I rounded up the price of every component to the nearest dollar, and the build cost excluding shipping is $666. I'm probably going to change that.

I actually already got my 80%'s and am going to finish them before April. If you take in the cost of those, the total cost build is more like $750. Anyways I'd like some advice on how to make this California compliant in the event I go to a range or on BLM land etcetera. Any advice other than a mag lock would be cool lol. Thanka and long live the republic.

Are you going featureless or ca compliant. You will need muzzle brake and frip fin or hammerhead grip for compliant or just fill you BB with epoxy for fixed mag. I went featureless with hammerhead ergonomic ground grip.

Come to think of it, there was a modified mag catch I saw online, that makes it last shot hold open on every shot. I forgot to include a brake. Assuming that modified mag catch works with DPMS patterns, I'll go compliant. Otherwise I'll get the grip fin.

They won't. Also don't support them they are scum order from Brownells they actually support the 2nd amendment.

Go "featureless" no muzzle device, grip fin, no telescoping stock, no foregrip and BB but the law is probably going to change for that.

Do a patriot pin or similar maglock and keep all your evil features.

Featureless notes:

Are you lefthanded? If not, you may want to consider an ambi safety. Also, if you go with a grip fin that has a thumb rest, you may need an ambi safety with a slightly shorter lever. If it's too long, it may interfere with the thumb rest.

I personally went with a strike industries megafin and a strike industries strike switch -- it suits me very well.
