Shooting Friendly Campgrounds -SoCal ish

Hello...are there any campgrounds/National forest lands left where you can camp and shoot? Thanks!

Shooting in campgrounds? I know of no such place.

what type of vehicle will you be going in?

However, as long as you are camping. Why not head out the 15 and after the 40 you can pull of almost anywhere and be out in the BLM desert. Camp and shoot there.

A LOT of people camp (and shoot) in the offroad area behind Calico. But it's not a campground so you're totally off grid.

There's Big Pine Flats 1,2 and 3 recreational shooting sites just north of Big Bear, and camping nearby at Holcomb Valley which is open year round. There's snow in the forecast up here later this week.
