      Hey Steve,

Sorry, no, not at this time. Future classes may, I'm working on it.

I will give you the correct fingerprint card, and I say correct, because, BCI is kicking back those that are not the same format as the ones used in Utah.

      Thanks

does the $30 registration fee go toward the $99 class fee or does the total price become $129?

Sorry, should have been more clear.

$99 is the total price for the class. The $30 is to reserve your seat in the class. The balance of $69 is due before class starts.

                Thanks

                  Thanks
But just to be clear, that $99 does or does not include the Utah application fee?

From the Utah Dept. of Public Safety site:

A non-refundable fee of $65.25 must be included with your
application. This fee consists of $35.00 for application and
permit processing and $30.25 charged by F.B.I. to process
                  the fingerprint card.

                    Thanks for the question Tango...

As my original post states (at the top), the $99 is the "fee for the class". There are additional fees that are imposed by Utah. Here is a excerpt from my website F.A.Q. section. There's LOTS of information there

In the interest of being completely clear, I have included an example below. This may or may not be your case.

$30 up front to reserve your seat in the class
$69 upon arrival at the class
Thats a total of $99 for the class...

$65.35 must be included in the application to the State of Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification.

With your application, you must include:
a 2"x2" passport quality photo $10 (Walmart picture studio)
Your application must be notarized $10 (Local Mail Boxes Etc./AAA/ etc.)
Completed fingerprint card. (Fingerprint cards will be provided, you can go to your local PD to get this done, I believe the fee is around $10-$15)

Or you can just get arrested and get them for FREE! JUST KIDDING!

So, your total out of pocket expenses would be $195.25 in this scenario.
                    +Postage of course!

I am working on getting these provided in class, but it has not happened yet:
                    • Notary Services for each class
                    • Fingerprinting for each class
                    • Passport Photos for each class

Each of these will be an additional fee, provided by me or a third party.

All of this can be done easily in a couple of hours. We will go through all of this during the class, I will provide a checklist to help with some resources listed. My goal is, complete, clear and concise training, then to explain everything needed in detail so there is no confusion so you are completely comfortable with the application process. Rest assured, if you meet the minimum requirements you WILL be issued this permit. Utah is a "shall-issue" state meaning once the basic requirements stated by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification are met, they must issue it. None of that California "hooey" about good cause applies here.

Moreover, one of the most valuable things about this permit in my opinion is the fact that you can carry any legally owned pistol you like anywhere this permit is valid.

For example, if you were to get the Nevada (and many other states CCW permits) you would be tethered by the firearm(s) you qualified with. Not so with Utah! No need to qualify when you get a new firearm! Awesome IMO.

I love Utah! Here's another tidbit of info:
Did you know the definition of a loaded firearm is COMPLETELY different than California's? A magazine inserted in an magazine well is NOT considered loaded! Only when a round is chambered....This and much more info is covered in the class.

                    Thanks!

I would like to point out that this class lands on Easter Sunday, but is in the afternoon, so still time in the a.m. to sit on rough hewn planks in Church!

To clarify, can the fingerprinting, Passport photo, and notary all be done and submitted after the 4 hour class?
