Boycotts vs. Contributions: Both Sides Potentially Get Hurt

We all know that hunters and fisherman have, traditionally, been among some of the staunchest 'conservationists.' We also know that, financially, the gun industry has always made some of the largest contributions to land preservation, species protection, et al. But, how many people who are not hunters and fishermen get that?
