The funny thing is it's actually age discrimination. If person were to walk into another store where they had a Second Amendment right, and could buy a gun, it is their right to do so. If they walk into another store and say that they cannot buy it simply because they are not of what they deem of age, it's completely unconstitutional. If I told a person who was 70 years old that I didn't want to sell them a gun because I didn't think they could shoot it straight or they might be unsafe, do you think that would fly also.........?????

Im confused.

I thought Dicks stopped selling AR type rifles after Sandy Hook. Then they came out last week saying they will no longer sell ARs. So we’re they just restating their position to grab headlines?

Them making up their own rules is completely BS. What if they said they wouldn’t sell to certain ethnic groups?

Article I read said they pulled AR's from their Dick's Stores after sandy Hook-but not from their Field and Stream stores.

Now they are stopping AR sales at ALL of their stores.

A 20 year old Special Forces operator is back home with his young wife and baby after 2 years active duty. He left a leg behind in Afghanistan. He and his wife and baby live in a little home in a not so great neighbourhood but it is what they can afford. He wonders into a Dicks Sporting goods store to purchase a shotgun to use to protect his young family in his own home. Dicks tells him to pound sand because he is not old enough to be trusted with a firearm. Not old enough to protect his family. The guy can not even stop in at Ians Pub for a beer. Perhaps we need age limit Waivers for certain people at the very least.
