I am going to save so much money by not shopping at all these bandwagon-jumping businesses.

How does banning this age group from buying O/U shotguns or Bolt action rifles prevent mass shooting? I don’t get where this is coming from. The problem is high capacity semi auto rifles. A kid with a 2 round shotgun can’t go full Parkland on someone right? So pissing off hunter and trapshooters serves what purpose, really?

Wonder how these people reason that this will increase their bottom line.

And they said they will no longer sell "high-capacity magazines". I wonder what they are going to define as that. 10rd+? 20rd+?

I was at the range last week and someone mentioned really whats going to happen is the rest of the nation is going to start to look like CA. I was just looking forward to going to Texas to visit some family and maybe enjoy some freedom.

If I was an executive at Walmaart or Dick's, I'd be thinking about the owners of the store that sold Cruz his gun. They're pretty upset about the Parkland shooting and the fact that they sold a gun to the shooter. Their business and their livelihood may be in ruins.

I'm not sure about Dick's but Walmart is many times larger than all of the holding companies that own sporting arms manufacturers combined. Guns and ammo are a small part of their business. Limiting sales of rifles and ammunition also limits the likelihood that a sale from one of their stores will be tied to any shooting, let alone one on the scale of Parkland, Las Vegas, Orlando, Texas, etc.

The business they might lose from a boycott by a subset of gun owners is peanuts compared with the damage to their reputation and brand and loss of sales they might have suffered if Cruz had used one of their guns.

I'd be very surprised if this isn't exactly how the thought process worked at Dick's and Walmart.

So glad I have everything my kids and I will ever need. They'll never have to spend a dime for a gun which may not even be possible anyway by the time they're 21.
