This large-capacity ammunition feeding device goes to 11.

    Yes. That's 11 rounds *GASP*

I manufactured it yesterday, from brand new links *GASP*.

Thank goodness we have a large-cap mag permit!

    *PHEW!!*

(If this doesn't demonstrate the absurdity of our laws, I don't know what does)

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Aren't the links supposed to be back a little further, not touching the neck? It's been a while since I fired a SAW, so I could be wrong.

        And yes, it is absurd.

Those are Israeli .308 links for my 1919A4.

          I wish I had a SAW instead

Surely you had link belts before the law went into effect. Wouldn't this just be rebuilding an existing large-capacity feeding device?

              Ah, I see. I didn't think about a different round/firearm.

Yeah, I miss firing the SAW. I do not, however, miss having to carry it on a 10k road march. "Light machine gun" is a relative term.

"Light Machine Gun" reffers to the ablity of one person to transport it.

                  Nope!

I manufactured it brand new yesterday from virgin links that I also got yesterday

Am I the only one who actually counted the rounds?

I counted them, too. But, I'd actually call that a 12-round belt, since the extra link on the left can hold a 12th round. So, the moral of this story is that if you wish to link up new links, and you don't have the permit, and thus you need to make a 10-round belt, then use exactly ten links (plus an optional starting tab). If you stick on an eleventh link, then you can also put in an eleventh bullet, and thus it's essentially an 11-round magazine that only has ten of the rounds loaded.

whoah whoah whoah! I only set out to make a large-capacity feeding device and not a HUGE-capacity feeding device...

My name isn't on it, but we have one where I work. As long as I don't take the belt home, I can put as many rounds on it as I please.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll get all crazy and go to *THIRTEEN* rounds!!
