I've been reading about the troubles finding ammunition recently and I guess I've been lucky. February was a good month, starting at Trader's in San Leandro when I purchased a case of PMC 45A and a case of Federal .308 (150 gr. FMJ). At the gun show I got the last two pounds available of IMR 3031. Late one Saturday I surfed over to Graf & Son and they had 2,000 Hornady .451 dia. 230 gr. HP-XTP as well as 5,000 Winch. large pistol primers. A few days after that they also had some 168gr SMK for .308 so I got 500 of those, and uyesterday Cabela's delivered 600 Rem./UMC .45 ACP in 230 gr. FMJ.
Have I been lucky or just diligent?
